Instruction manual

1

Bleach with oxygen

The advantage of such bleaches is the ability to process not only white but also colored cotton fabrics. Prewash first. Soak dirty things for several hours in powder or treat them in the washing machine with the option “Prewash” - you will get rid of general pollution. Prepare a bleaching solution with hydrogen peroxide. Heat water with washing powder to 60 degrees and pour liquid into it (1 cup per 10 liters of water). Put freshly washed cotton products in the pan and bring the solution to 100 degrees - the bleach is effective at high temperatures. Constantly stirring, boil them for 15-20 minutes. Remove the items, rinse thoroughly with warm, and then cool water and dry.

2

Use a chlorine-based product for bleaching

A popular remedy from this group is "White." Processing things with such bleach does not require boiling and is possible in cold water, but it can be used only for white cotton fabrics. Wash things manually or in the machine, and without rinsing, prepare for processing. Heat the water in a saucepan to 40-50 degrees and pour bleaching agent into it (1/3 cup per 10 liters of water). Stir the solution and immerse the laundry in it for 20 minutes. After bleaching, rinse it in warm and then in cold water until the pungent odor is completely eliminated.

3

Bleach cotton with turpentine

Bleach can be used not only during washing, but also when soaking. Prepare a bleaching solution based on: 5 tablespoons of turpentine in 5 liters of water with 2 tablespoons of powder. Soak the washed laundry in it for 5 - 8 hours and correct so that it does not come up. Rinse things with plenty of water.

note

When using a washing machine, oxygen-containing bleach can be added to hot water only in a top-loading drum model.

Useful advice

Use only fresh oxygen-containing bleaches - after 3 months, their effectiveness is reduced by half. For uniform whitening, constantly move the products in solution.
