If your hair is long, you can easily pick it up with a regular vacuum cleaner. It will be more difficult with short and thin hairs - they are more closely woven into the pile of the carpet. Here you have to work a little.

Sweep the carpet with a damp broom. This procedure will remove only part of the hair, but all remaining on the hairs will rise up and they can be collected with a vacuum cleaner.

Clean the carpet with a damp brush or a rag. Start from one of the edges and gradually move along its entire length. Rinse the cloth in clean water as it gets dirty. Do not forget to change the water. This method of cleaning is quite painstaking and will take some time. But this way you can clean the carpet from hair even in the most advanced cases.

Mix 200 ml of fabric softener with a glass of water. Using a spray bottle, evenly distribute the solution on the carpet. This will help soften the hairs. After that, it will be enough just to vacuum the coating.

Ordinary baking soda will also help remove hair from the carpet. Spread it over the surface and vacuum thoroughly.

Buy a dog and cat mitten from the pet store. One of the sides of such a product is rubberized, because of which molted wool easily sticks to it.

You can also collect hair from the carpet with masking tape, such as scotch tape or a roller for cleaning clothes. Wrap your hand with tape (sticky side out), press it to the surface. As the tape becomes dirty, change it. With a sticky roller, it’s enough to just drive along the carpet - it will collect all the garbage from it.

No matter how trite it may sound, timely systematic vacuuming is the main recipe for maintaining carpet cleanliness. After all, it is much easier to remove single hairs that are not trampled into the coating than to clean off a whole “fur outfit”.
