The most effective and proven enemy of cockroaches is boric acid, which is absolutely harmless to humans and animals. Perhaps the infected cockroach will survive, but it will not want to return to the place of poisoning. Get 100 g of boric acid in the pharmacy and sprinkle with it all the possible places: floor, baseboards, sinks, walls and all approaches to the water. Cockroaches will feel the poison and try to find workarounds. If the cockroach comes in contact with boric acid, it will also be able to infect its relatives, who hasten to retire.

But it is still more efficient to use boric acid in the form of a food bait or paste, which is quite simple to prepare yourself. Crush 100 grams of boiled potatoes, add 5 grams of vegetable oil and 10-20 grams of boric acid. Roll the resulting mixture into small balls and place in places where cockroaches are detected. Boric acid has a delayed insecticidal effect, maintaining its effectiveness for 2-3 months. Instead of potatoes, you can use boiled egg yolk, which remarkably hides the smell of boric acid.

Daily wash floors with the addition of ammonia, it is precisely this smell that cockroaches do not tolerate. But then they really like beer. Pour some beer on the bottom of the can, and coat the inside edges with petroleum jelly or vegetable oil, by the morning there will be a lot of cockroaches in the can.
