Steam irons, which were previously used only by professionals, in sewing workshops and dry cleaners, are now available for use at home. Of course, they are still expensive, but if finances allow, and the amount of things that need to be ironed is too large, the purchase of such an instrument will be out of place. With such an iron it is much easier and better to iron the most delicate fabrics. You can tidy up the costumes without removing them from the hanger, and the curtains from the eaves. Using this seemingly complicated technical miracle is not at all difficult.

Instruction manual

1

Pour water into the container of the steam generator. Capacity may vary; how many things you can iron without adding water will depend on the size of the container. After filling it with water, turn on the steam generator. Wait a couple of minutes - the iron should heat up.

2

Select the mode of operation you need and accordingly set the switch on the control panel. This can be low vaporization, economy mode (saves up to 20% of electricity) and powerful steam generation. If you want to stroke everything quickly, you can choose a powerful mode.

3

Next, determine the ironing temperature. It depends on the structure of the material from which your thing is sewn. If there are tags on clothing, read what temperature is allowed and program it on your appliance. If there is no instruction, you can trust the indicators - icons and inscriptions - on the iron control panel.

4

You can iron as usual. If you want to use steam, press the special button at the bottom of the iron handle. Steam will be released as long as you hold it.

5

If deep creases have formed on your item that are difficult to smooth out, or if it is sewn from thick fabric, use the steam boost function. Please note: the steam boost button is located on top of the handle, so you cannot press it accidentally.

6

If you have not calculated the amount of water or it ended in the ironing process, you can add it to the capacity of the steam generator at any time, without disconnecting it from the network. When the water runs out, you will see how the indicator light on the control panel lights up. After filling the container, click on the restart button and continue your work.

7

Keep in mind that if the iron is idle for more than 8-10 minutes in a horizontal position, the steam generator will go into standby mode and the iron will stop heating up (this makes a fire impossible).

note

Although in irons with a steam generator, a continuous steam supply system is provided, no drops of water fall on things (the anti-drip system works), so ironing is done efficiently. Do not worry when you hear that the steam generator is buzzing (it looks like a refrigerator compressor), it should be so - it generates steam.
