Nylon is used in the production of stockings, socks, underwear and sportswear. Due to its elasticity and strength properties, this material is very sensitive to high temperature.

Instruction manual

1

Carefully read the instructions for your iron. If the delicate ironing mode is not provided, then such an iron will not work. Ironing nylon is generally undesirable and permissible only in extreme cases. The maximum temperature is -110 degrees Celsius.

2

Select an ironing mode with a temperature of less than 110 degrees Celsius. In no case do not use modes with steam processing.

3

When the iron heats up, lay it on an ironing board. Lay a dry cloth on top. The thinner the product, the thicker the fabric should be.

4

Iron the product with gentle movements. Do not pull, do not twist the iron from place to place. Better hold it on a piece of clothing, and then lift it up and reposition it on another piece.

5

To remove stains from clothes made of nylon, it is better to contact dry cleaning. But in extreme cases, this can be done independently. For example, place a piece of newspaper or papyrus paper on chewing gum and a piece of chintz cloth on top. Hold the iron on top. The chewing gum should go on a piece of paper.

6

In most cases, it is enough to simply lay out a nylon product on an ironing board and straighten all the folds with your hands. When it dries, there will be no wrinkles on it. Tights, for example, can be hung for drying. Ironing should only be used as a last resort.

note

Most nylon products do not need ironing.
