Table setting is a real art. One of the items that make the festive table not only elegant, but also convenient, can be called a scaffold.
The very word "scaffold" comes from the French "mélanger" - to mix. It is a dish, divided inside into several cells, allowing to put several dishes on one plate on a limited space of one table, most often salads, without mixing them together.
What are scissors
Shapes, sizes, material of manufacture and even the purpose of scissors are very diverse. Basically, this, of course, is the subject of decoration of the festive table. Here a huge variety of this dishes is manifested.
Typically, scissors is a rather large dish, round, oval or square, divided by partitions into several sections. The divisions in the scaffold can be as many as you like - two or more. There are also “composite” scallops - several small salad bowls are placed on one stand. Often the stand for the scissors is made with a rotating disk, and each guest can easily turn it to themselves with the desired side.
To preserve food from drying out and to maintain the required temperature, scallops with lids are made for each section; transparent lids are especially convenient in this case.
Vertical desserts are intended for desserts and fruits - several dishes of different sizes, located on the same basis in several tiers. Such scaffold vases allow you to nicely and economically place everything you need for tea drinking, without cluttering the table.
Scallops are made from a wide variety of materials - from silver and crystal for a festive table, to disposable ones, from cardboard plastic or foil, indispensable for picnics or dinners in camping conditions.
