It is better to arrange a myrtle pot on the west or east side of the room. In summer, the southern windows need to protect the plant from the midday sun. On the northern window, the myrtle may not be able to get the sun in winter, and in summer the flowering will be weak.

In winter, the myrtle can drop leaves if the temperature near it exceeds 10 ° C, or if seasonality is not observed in watering, spraying and feeding.
