If greasy spots appear on suede, then baby talcum powder can be used. Sprinkle a dirty stain with plenty of talcum powder and leave for 24 hours. Then wipe the talcum powder with a special suede brush. If talcum powder does not cope with its task, and the stain still remains, then you can use gasoline. Wipe the stain with a cloth dampened with gasoline.

Salt and clean river sand also cope very well with fat spots on suede. Sand and salt are poured into a rag, heated and applied to a contaminated surface.

If the stain is planted on clothes made of other fabrics, then gasoline is most often used. A cloth or filter paper moistened with gasoline is applied from the wrong side. A previously contaminated area can be wiped with a cotton swab soaked in gasoline.

Fresh greasy stains can be heated on both sides with an iron through a blotter. You can also dampen the stain with a swab in a mixture of detergent and ammonia. Half a teaspoon of alcohol and detergent is taken on a half glass of water.

A stain on a silk product can be removed with a mixture of a tablespoon of glycerin, water and a teaspoon of ammonia. Heat this mixture and wipe the stain.

If the spots are removed, but dark stains remain around, then they need to be wiped with gasoline. To prevent such stains, before removing the stain, the fabric around is wiped with water or sprinkled with chalk.
