In fact, this is not difficult to do, you just need to remember a few individual characteristics of these materials.

Natural skin should have a porous surface, while microscopic holes will be distributed unevenly along it. On artificial skin, pores are imitated by a mechanism, because they look symmetrical.

At the cut, the product made of genuine leather should have a single structure, and not be separated from the surface. If this happens, it means that the manufacturer simply glued the artificial leather to the fabric base not very well. The differences also apply to the cut itself, which can be found at the joints of pockets or fastening zippers. Natural material is single and cannot be divided into fringes or threads. In appearance, the slices themselves will not have as smooth angles as is done on artificial leather.

Another difference between genuine leather and artificial leather is the smell, but using modern fragrances, the aroma of genuine leather can be given to dermatin, so this indicator cannot be considered the only reliable one.

A branded leather product is always accompanied by a small tag, showing on one side the impression of the manufacturer’s brand, and on the other hand the appearance of the leather used to create the product. The shape of the label itself should resemble the skin of an animal, while in synthetic products it will be a rhombus.
