During the festive feast, an unpleasant surprise may occur in the form of stains from red wine. One careless movement and pollution appear on the clothes, tablecloth or sofa, spoiling the appearance of the product. However, one should not be upset and think that the thing is hopelessly spoiled, because there are a huge number of simple and affordable ways to remove such spots.
Remember that the longer the stain is on the surface of the product, the more difficult it will be to remove. Do not let the wine soak into the fibers of the fabric and dry. Immediately after you spill the drink, blot the surface with a napkin and rinse with clean water. If wine has spilled onto clothing, remove it and soak in warm soapy water.
If a drink gets on upholstered furniture, sprinkle the stain with sodium chloride. Then treat the fabric with a detergent solution. Blot the surface with a paper towel at the end.
If wine gets on the carpet, blot the stain with napkins. In no case do not rub the contaminated area, otherwise it will be much more difficult to clean it. Remove wine with light movements, pressing on a napkin.
If the dirt has soaked into the carpet, take a piece of cloth that absorbs liquid well. Fold it several times and attach to the stain. Press down the flap firmly and wait 3-5 minutes. This will help you remove moisture that has penetrated deep into the fibers. Sometimes one procedure is enough, but it happens that you have to repeat it several times. Remember that it is not recommended to use colored fabric for these purposes, as it can stain the carpet.
If none of the above methods help you, use hydrogen peroxide. This method is suitable only for white things. So, dilute hydrogen peroxide with water in a ratio of 1: 3. Saturate the stain with the resulting solution and wait a few minutes. Then blot the treated area with a paper towel. Repeat until the stain has completely disappeared.
