  • - mold;

  • - two-component adhesive.

Instruction manual

1

If the surface of the marble is not very smooth, there are potholes and elevations, carry out preliminary leveling grinding. To do this, treat it with rough abrasives. Polish the floor with special machines for grinding and polishing floors, and small surfaces, such as a table or stand, with a drill with an emery nozzle. Small and uneven marble products, such as figurines, are manually aligned with sandpaper.

2

If you need to polish a marble floor, remove at least 3 mm of material, then the floor will look like a monolith, without tile borders (if its thickness allows).

3

In order to repair chips and damage on the marble surface, use two-component adhesive. Pick it by color and transparency. The modern choice of colors allows you to find glue that will be indistinguishable from natural inclusions.

4

If you need to polish marble with a complex structure, many inclusions, streaks and pores, also use glue. Note that when grinding such a stone, the top layer is removed, and without strengthening with liquid glue it is simply impossible to achieve a normal result.

5

Sand the marble in succession with several abrasive numbers. In this case, more and more minor scratches will be removed, and an absolutely smooth and even matte surface will be obtained.

6

To give the marble a mirror sheen, polish with a few numbers of thin abrasives, each time using less and less coarse.

7

A perfectly smooth shiny appearance of the marble surface can be imparted by crystallization. To do this, cover it with the thinnest protective layer of a different chemical composition. After that, wash the floor well to avoid dull spots (since the mold contains weak acid).

8

To make the marble floor happy for a long time, protect it with special compositions for the polished floor, while they can additionally have a tinting effect, highlight color, create the effect of a wet stone.
