Preparing clothes for stain removal
Before starting to remove stains, you need to clean the clothes from dust. Before you apply any tool, it is best to test its effect on a piece of tissue. The stain must be removed from the inside, and under the fabric put a white cloth or napkin.
Removing fruit stains
Citric acid or freshly squeezed lemon juice with salt will help eliminate stains left on clothing by various fruits. It is advisable to apply this method while the stain is fresh.
If a lot of time has passed since the stain appeared, the fabric should be held above boiling water, then wipe the stain with a mixture of vodka and vinegar one to one. After that, soak the swab with ammonia and wipe the tissue.
Chewing gum removal
To clean chewing gum from clothes, the thing must be put in the freezer for an hour and a half. Prior to this, it is undesirable to touch the chewing gum, this will only worsen the situation. Frozen chewing gum is easily separated from clothing. But sometimes it penetrates deep into the structure of the tissue, and after removal, a small spot may remain. This stain is easily removed with a solvent or WD-40 cleaner.
