A stain from rust can appear from a coin forgotten in your pocket, contact with metal or rusty water. It has a characteristic orange color and deeply penetrates the tissue fibers. Do not be discouraged if you notice a similar stain on your clothes. Knowing simple methods, you can easily get rid of it.
Mix in equal proportions lemon juice and cold water. Immerse the soiled area of the fabric in the resulting solution and wait half an hour. Most importantly, do not use hot water to remove the rust stain. If after such manipulation there is a trace of contamination, rinse clothes with cold water. Then apply undiluted detergent to it. Brush the fabric and wash your clothes as usual.
To remove rust stains, there is another way using lemon juice. On the wrong side of the contaminated area, attach a few paper towels. Subsequently, they absorb rust. Sprinkle the stain with sodium chloride. Cut the lemon in half and rub the cloth intensively with it. Then cover the treated area with napkins and place the item in the sun. After two hours, the stain should disappear.
To quickly get rid of the stain, use the following method: pour the pan and bring it to a boil. Then pull over the soiled area of clothing over it, sprinkle it with citric acid or treat it with fresh lemon juice. Wait 5-7 minutes. Repeat if necessary. At the end, wash clothes as usual.
Try not to use bleaches to remove rust stains, as they may not remove dirt, but only lighten them slightly.
