Before buying a bath, you need to find out all about the existing types of bathtubs and decide for yourself which option is most suitable.

The first view is a steel bath. Its coating (enamel), as a rule, is very strong, as a result of this, it does not deteriorate and does not fly off over time. The weight of such varieties is very small, this provides an easier and more convenient installation. Due to its high ductility, steel can take almost any shape, this feature provides a wide variety of models on the market. Therefore, you can easily find a bath suitable for your interior. The disadvantages include weak resistance to stress. Most often, steel has a small thickness, because of this, the bath can become deformed over time. In addition, models made of this material retain heat worse than other analogues, which means that the water in them cools much faster.

The second type is acrylic. She, unlike the previous one, very well retains heat in herself. Thanks to this, the water remains hot for a long time. Another distinguishing feature (and for some, perhaps even an advantage) is the noise level. In such a bath it is low, therefore, the sounds of the accumulating water will hardly be heard. The range of such models is represented quite widely. One of the main advantages of such varieties is that damage that has appeared over time can be repaired without problems. There are few drawbacks to such bathtubs, but they still exist. Acrylic has poor resistance to opaque water. Because of this, after a while, such a bath will turn yellow due to interaction with tap water. Their main drawback is the price. It is too large in comparison with analogues from other materials.

The third type is cast iron. The noise level of such bathtubs is very low. Therefore, the sounds of water will hardly be heard. Such models hold heat well, so the water will remain hot for a long time. As a rule, they are easier to clean, are strong and durable, and most importantly - cheap. Of the minuses, one can note only the large weight, which provides inconvenience during installation, and the lack of a wide variety of models on the market. Therefore, cast iron bathtubs are the most suitable option for purchase.
