If for some reason dry cleaning is not available to you, wash the blanket manually or on a washing machine. The main thing is to handle the wet product carefully, choose the optimal temperature regime and use gentle detergents.
Handwash
Fill the bathtub with warm water (up to 30 ° C), carefully immerse the blanket into it. Spread the product so that it is placed in the water in free folds, without twisting and bending, and leave it to soak. After a few hours, carefully remember the blanket with your hands, then remove the cork and drain the dirty water. Draw water again, gently rinse the blanket and drain again. Now that the product has got rid of the dust accumulated in it, it's time to remove water from it. Gently squeeze the blanket, gently pressing on its surface, do not twist and do not remove it from the bath. Let the water drain and leave the product for another half hour, then remember it carefully again. When you realize that most of the water is glass, remove the blanket from the bathtub and dry it thoroughly.
Machine wash
If it’s too hard to hand wash a camel’s blanket, use a washing machine. Remember that improper washing can turn the product into an unnecessary ball of wool. To prevent this from happening, carefully study the product label before washing, which indicates in which mode the product can be washed and dried, and what detergents should be used to wash it. For washing a camel blanket, the gentle (delicate) washing mode is best. As a rule, in this mode, the water temperature is heated to no more than 30 degrees Celsius. Insert the blanket into the drum of the washing machine and close the lid tightly. Pour a little washing powder or a special detergent for woolen fabrics into a special drawer, then select the “Wool” mode from the menu and start the wash cycle. This mode will provide a soft and gentle spin, which is optimal for moody woolen things.
