Without additional rinsing, soapy white stains may remain on the jacket. It is better to squeeze the down jacket at minimum speed. It is not recommended to use the drying mode.
It is equally important to choose the right detergent for washing a down jacket. It is better to purchase a special gel, which is usually sold in outerwear or household cleaning stores. It almost does not foam and eliminates the formation of white spots after washing.
Before washing, the down jacket should be properly prepared. Turn inside out, empty pockets, unfasten jewelry and, if possible, metal elements. Zippers, fasteners, buttons fasten - this will exclude their deformation during washing. The edge is also unfastened - it is usually washed by hand or cleaned in dry cleaning.
