Automatic washing machines are an essential household item. With their appearance, the housewives have more time, strength and energy that can be spent studying with children or spending an evening with a loved one. However, washing machines require careful maintenance.

Typically, washing machines have three detergent compartments located on the top of the appliance. Departments are marked with either special icons or numbers. In almost all machines, the gradation is as follows: the first compartment is designed for prewash, then there is a compartment for air conditioners, and the third for the main one. The purpose of the compartments can also be determined by their size: the smallest is used for rinsing, the larger for prewash and the largest for the main.
The compartment for the air conditioner is indicated by a special icon - an asterisk (chamomile). On some models, the designation is located at the very end of the wash box. If you take it out, you will see the sign you need.
For a more accurate determination of the compartments, start the washing machine and wait for the water to fill. Pull out the box and see where the water flows. This compartment is for washing.
Another way: pour water into the bath, if the compartment is designed for detergent, the water will immediately merge into the tank.
When starting the machine.
Some detergents can be placed directly in the tank of the machine. These are mainly powders that do not contain multi-colored granules. To use them, purchase a special container for washing in the tank.
Sometimes the powder is not completely washed with water in the tank. To reduce the chance of detergent not being washed out, regularly clean the box and the drain hole under the box.
