First of all, you need to sort things that you want to get rid of profitably. Children’s clothes are in one pile, warm adults are in another, ordinary clothes are in a third. As for children's clothing, it can be taken to any orphanages, with the exception of Moscow. In the metropolitan area, the orphanages are sufficiently wealthy to afford to buy only new things, but in the province the situation is completely different, and any decent-looking wardrobe items are welcome there.

Clothes can always be turned over to charitable organizations (for example, the Russian Red Cross). Orthodox churches also willingly donate things for adults. In addition, in every city there are Integrated Social Service Centers, which also accept warm things from the population, distributing them among the poor. Finally, there are foundations for helping prisoners, volunteer organizations, neuropsychiatric boarding schools, and nursing homes. Shelters for homeless animals are often asked for warm clothes suitable for bedding.

You can get rid of unnecessary things using the Internet. Now various sites act as platforms on which people offer to give away certain things for nothing. As a rule, pickup is a condition, that is, you can give away unnecessary clothes without leaving your home. Such sites or communities on social networks exist in almost every city. Also on the Internet you can find the addresses of charitable organizations that accept clothes.

Things that you don’t need can still be useful to other people, so do not throw bales of old clothes in the trash. In the end, to do a good deed you need only a little time, and the reward will be the sincere gratitude of those to whom you helped.

When choosing things as a gift, do not forget to wash them, to sew up buttons, as charitable organizations simply do not have enough time for this.
