Thus, a carpet or rug, laid in the kitchen, needs to be thoroughly cleaned daily, and with the use of additional cleaners. Firstly, it takes a lot of time, and secondly, even with the most gentle care, daily cleaning will quickly lead to the carpet losing its appearance and having to be replaced.

Some people use jute rugs in the kitchen - they can be washed, but they also have to be taken care of daily.

The carpet absorbs odors

It is known that odors last longer in fleecy surfaces, namely, hairiness is present in any, even the most “short-haired” carpet. And if it is still possible to remove contaminants from the surface, it is much more difficult to deal with an ingrained smell.

Even with a good extract, food odors absorbed by the carpet during repeated cooking will be absorbed into its pile, creating a unique, but not the most pleasant “bouquet”.

Flavoring the kitchen using various means and daily cleaning, of course, can solve this problem, but only partially. The carpet, lying in the kitchen for a long time, will certainly smell not the best way.
