Sharpening tools for manicure is a very responsible and serious matter. After all, they are all quite small. And besides, this procedure must be carried out correctly. Indeed, the tool life and the possibility of its correct operation depend on the quality of sharpening.

The easiest way to sharpen manicure tweezers is to take them to a special workshop. Literally 5-10 minutes, and everything will be ready. The cost of such a service ranges from 200 to 300 rubles. However, there are such craftsmen who prefer to carry out the procedure for sharpening any tools on their own at home. And they use several ways.

One of the easiest options is to take a regular bar with which sharpen kitchen knives. Then the nippers are wide open and slowly, very carefully begin to sharpen them. The movements should not be too sharp. Everything needs to be done very carefully. After you finish, you can check the quality of work by cutting something. As a rule, the sharpness of the nippers is checked on polyethylene.

Another way is to sharpen the tweezers on special semi-professional equipment. If you have a mini-grinder in your home, then this is what you need. Clamp the previously opened tweezers in a special connector and start grinding them using a special grinding wheel (it is desirable that it is with a diamond coating). Likewise, care must be taken when performing work.

If you want to sharpen the tweezers, which are a clamp, that is, do not open widely, then you can use a conventional hacksaw. Again, all movements should be clearly and accurately measured. If you overdo it with sharpening, then the tweezers will simply tear the skin, and not bite it. And this, in turn, makes it difficult to make the perfect manicure. And it means that the tweezers will no longer be suitable for work.

And of course, no one canceled the good old way of sharpening tools with sandpaper. This method will be even softer than the previous ones. Because the chances of spoiling the tool by sharpening it with sandpaper are quite small. The whole procedure is performed as follows: with tweezers you begin to bite a sheet of sandpaper. After you do this several times, check the quality of sharpening on polyethylene. If it cuts well, then everything is ready.
Useful advice
Remember that if the tweezers need to be re-grinded after 7-10 days, then the work was done poorly. If once a month or two, then you have imprisoned them quite well. And if re-processing was needed only six months later, sharpening was ideal.
