Removing various stains from the ceiling is a very troublesome job, but you can cope with it if you make some effort. Yellow spots can appear due to the carelessness of neighbors from the upper floors, who simply forgot to close the tap. They can form if there are water or sewer pipes nearby that rust over time.

Depending on the type of spots on the ceiling, there are different ways to eliminate them. Consider the case when the repair in the apartment has not yet been done.

Take a putty knife and carefully peel off falling pieces of paint, wallpaper or putty from the problem area. Pour into the bowl "White". put on rubber gloves and take a sponge. Wet it in Whiteness, then squeeze it slightly. Start processing the stain. To do this, attach foam to the area where there is yellowness. and hold for a few seconds, then move the sponge to another place, after wetting it in "White". After several applications, moisten it again and squeeze it a little. Treat the entire stain in this way. Gradually, you will see the bottom layer of the sponge turn dark yellow. Replace it with a new one and treat the stain until it brightens slightly.

Wait for the ceiling to dry. If the spot becomes light, then the work is completed. If you notice that yellow is still breaking through, then you must repeat the operation again. If rust spots appear on the ceiling, then apply a primer on the problem area, consisting of a 10% solution of copper sulfate.

To remove yellow oil stains from the ceiling, first remove all dust and dirt from the contaminated area. Apply deep penetration primer. Wait for it to dry. Pour the paint into a container, moisten the roller and paint over the stain. If the problem area could not be painted with a roller, then brush the stain with a brush. Wait for it to dry. If you notice that the yellow area shines through, apply a few more layers of paint until the stain is painted over. After a few days, you can begin to repair the ceiling.

To remove the yellow spots that appear on the freshly painted ceiling, take oil paint. Paint the stain in several layers. After staining, the contaminated area may shine and slightly differ from the rest of the ceiling color. Paint the glossy paint with the one you originally painted the entire ceiling. Apply it in several layers until the shine disappears.
