The most likely habitat for the fungus is wet and warm places, such as a bathroom or ceiling and walls that have leaks. Identify the foci of mold and try to prevent these areas from suffering from excessive humidity and a lack of clean, cool air.

Now proceed to thoroughly clean the infected area. Wear rubber gloves, a mask and goggles before work. So you protect the mucous membranes from getting on them the smallest fungal spores. Using a spatula, scrape off any visible dirt from the surface and put them in a garbage bag. It must be tightly closed and discarded as soon as possible. After that, treat the area with special anti-mold impregnation or an antiseptic. You can finally defeat an unpleasant odor with ordinary baking soda. Sprinkle abundantly onto the cleaned surfaces with this powder and leave them for a day. Then brush the soda with a hard-bristled brush or broom. During this time, the powder not only absorbs the smell, but also removes excess moisture formed during the cleaning process.

Now you can further refresh the site. To do this, cut the peel from a few lemons and slightly dry it. Put crusts on the processed places, and the undesirable smell disappears completely. Coffee has a similar property of masking extraneous aromas. At the final stage of the fight against unpleasant odors, scatter a handful of coffee beans over the entire cleaned surface.
