Leather jackets are a classic that never goes out of style. With proper care and careful wear, leather things look great for a long time. Remove dirt, greasy and complex stains should be especially careful not to damage the skin and not spoil the color.

The collar and cuffs are most susceptible to contamination, where oily spots form. To completely remove them, moisten a soft sponge or cotton pad with medical alcohol, gently and thoroughly wipe the greasy spots. Alcohol gently cleanses the skin not only from greasy stains, but also helps remove dirt from a ballpoint pen or gel pen, felt-tip pen.

Remove stains from dirt with a damp microfiber cloth, apply one drop of dish detergent to it, wipe away any dirt, rinse the cloth in warm water, and repeat wet cleaning.

Remove complex stains on a dark leather jacket with a mixture of equal parts of turpentine and denatured alcohol, a few drops of glycerin can be added to this mixture. Moisten a cotton pad or sponge, thoroughly wipe the stains, after 10 minutes, finish the treatment with a clean disc moistened with alcohol.

Stains on a light leather jacket should be removed with a mixture of water, baking soda and ammonia. For persistent contamination, pour 200 ml of water into a container, add 2 teaspoons of baking soda and 2 tablespoons of ammonia. You can add 1 drop of any liquid dish detergent to this mixture.

To keep the leather jacket soft after removing stains, apply a drop of castor oil or glycerin to the sponge and wipe the entire jacket thoroughly. This will give the product shine and protect it from moisture.

Potato starch gruel will help you remove greasy stains from leather products. Dilute 2 tablespoons of starch to a thick sour cream, apply to greasy spots, leave for 15 minutes, clean the pulp with a sponge, then wipe with a sponge moistened with glycerin.

Do not use aggressive products to clean leather products: gasoline, acetone, kerosene, thinner. If you cannot cope with the stains on your own, contact a dry cleaner, where any dirt will be removed carefully and at a very reasonable price.
