A small child in the house is not only happiness, laughter and a whole bunch of toys scattered everywhere, but also amazing art on the walls. The drawings on the wallpaper in the children's room look very cute and original, but multi-colored scribbles, for example, in the living room are absolutely inappropriate. You can try to remove the felt-tip pen from the wallpaper using some improvised means.
You will need
- - cotton swab or white cotton fabric;
- - 3% hydrogen peroxide;
- - oxygen stain remover for clothes;
- - medical alcohol, ammonia or meth;
- - special stain remover for removing traces of ink and felt-tip pens

Before you start deleting drawings from the wallpaper, carefully read the information on the packaging of the markers with which they were drawn. If the markers are made on a water basis, removing traces from them is easy.

Dip a cotton swab or piece of white cotton cloth in 3% hydrogen peroxide. Carefully treat them with scribbles until they completely disappear. Move from the center to the edges of the spot. This eliminates the possibility of smearing felt-tip pen on clean wallpaper.

In addition to hydrogen peroxide, traces of water-based felt-tip pens can be removed using an oxygen stain remover designed to remove stains from clothing. Treat them with a contaminated area of wallpaper, and after 10-15 minutes, gently rinse the stain remover with water.

Traces of alcohol-based felt-tip pens are much more difficult to remove from wallpaper. Try this with medical alcohol, ammonia, or meth. Wet the stain with one of these products, constantly changing cotton swabs.

Mix one tablespoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice with the same amount of alcohol. Soak a cotton swab in the resulting liquid and carefully treat the traces of the felt-tip pen on the wallpaper with it. Then wipe the contaminated area with a dry cloth. Repeat the procedure if necessary.

Use a special stain remover to remove traces of ink and markers, which can be purchased at a hardware store. Such a product is sold, usually in the form of a dry spray or pencil. Follow the instructions for use supplied with the stain remover.

Before you begin to remove traces from the felt-tip pen from a prominent place on the wallpaper, try the selected method in an inconspicuous area, for example, located behind a sofa or a cupboard.
