Choosing an oven, whether it is a stationary built-in or a small desktop roaster, is not so simple. A large number of models from different manufacturers - this is the assortment of a good home appliance store. How to figure it out? How to find exactly what you need?

First of all, you need to determine the type of oven and its acceptable dimensions. For example, a mini-oven (roaster) can perfectly fit into the interior of a small kitchen, especially in the country, without cluttering it up and leaving a place under the dishwasher. At the same time, some models of mini-ovens have the same functionality as large ovens!

The sizes of the roasters can be different, it depends on the volume of the camera:

  • compact (up to 19 liters);

  • medium (19-24 l);

  • large (from 25 liters).

Further, it is necessary to carefully study the technical characteristics of the device, recommendations and manufacturer's guarantees, functionality.

What to pay special attention to

The ability to connect only those tena (heaters) that you need. Different recipes use different heating options. For example, when baking some sandwiches, you need only the upper heating (just to melt the cheese), and for pies or charlotte - the upper and lower.

Convection function. This is a small fan that creates a weak air flow inside the furnace, which allows you to make the heating of products more uniform.

Electromechanical skewer. Most ovens do not have such a simple device, but this does not mean that it is secondary and unnecessary!

No switching of tenes, no convection can give what happens to the product on a spit.

During slow rotation of meat or fish, uniform baking (frying) occurs on all sides with the formation of a beautiful, even crust. And another very important point: this is the most dietary cooking option! The “secret” is that during the rotation the excess fat flows down, but due to the crust formed, the meat remains very juicy, with a rich taste.

Removable drip tray. Allows you to collect all the draining fat and eliminates the need to wash the bottom of the device.

It is also worth paying attention to the type of coating, power, maximum temperature, additional functions (the presence of additional programs, a programmer, etc.), but this is already secondary.
