Cleaning a natural fur coat
Before you remove a natural fur coat in a cabinet for storage after winter wear, it should be prepared for this. To do this, moisten a sponge in cold water with detergent without enzymes and wipe the contaminated areas on the product. To remove stains on a coat with a long pile, you can use the composition of talc and gasoline. Traces of bird droppings and sugary drinks can easily be handled by ordinary soap. For this purpose, a cloth moistened with a solution should rub the stains and walk through the wet pile with a dry cloth. Complex contaminants can be tried to remove with gasoline. There is no point in worrying about the unpleasant odor, as it will easily disappear outdoors.
The greasy sleeves and collar look extremely scruffy. This problem can be eliminated using a mixture consisting of water, table vinegar and alcohol taken in equal proportions. The composition must be applied to contaminated places, and then wipe them with a cotton cloth. This solution can be used to remove oil stains and just clean a natural fur coat.
You can clean a dark coat with a composition of water and ammonia taken in a ratio of 4: 1. A cotton pad soaked in it is necessary to walk through the problem areas of the product. Wet fur should also be washed with another composition, which is prepared at the rate of 1 tsp. vinegar per 1 liter of water. After that, the pile is wiped with a dry cloth. This procedure returns the fur shine.
Products made of light fur are cleaned differently. The fur coat should be covered with a sufficient amount of starch and begin to wrinkle it so that the mixture could collect all the accumulated dirt. After this, the fur coat is shaken, and the procedure is repeated. The purity of things will be indicated by the whiteness of starch. After cleaning, you should walk on the fur coat with an iron comb, which will remove its remains.
