The components that are contained in the laundry detergent are divided into two main categories: surfactants and activators. The first category takes the place of soap, guarantees high efficiency and good splitting. Activators are enzymes that wash organic and protein dirt.

Universal powders are suitable for washing products from any fabrics, either manually or in a washing machine. They perfectly eliminate pollution. Powders with active additives help get rid of more complex contaminants.

To remove stains from clothing, you should first establish their origin. Fresh spots disappear pretty quickly after washing with ordinary household soap and soda. If you are sure that the stains on the clothes came from washing powder, first change the powder. The spots can be white or bluish in color, white spots are most often superficial and can disappear if the pollution is simply rubbed with a brush or a piece of cloth.

If after the next wash on the clothes there are persistent stains from washing powder, then it is likely that the clothes are not well rinsed. Load the washing machine again and turn on the rinse. Or, draw warm water into the basin and soak things in it for half an hour, then rinse well. In the event that this does not help, wash the items in water with the addition of dishwashing liquid.

Try to remove residual stains from the powder with a solution of oxalic or citric acid. To do this, dilute 1 teaspoon of acid in a glass of hot water, stir, then moisten the contaminated parts of the fabric with this solution. After rinse these places with water.

On light or white cloth, traces of the powder are removed using ammonia. 1 teaspoon is enough for half a glass of water, moisten a piece of cotton in the solution and attach to the spot. Manipulations repeat several times.

Hydrogen peroxide also copes well with pollution. Dilute in a third of a glass of water a tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide. Treat the mixture with areas of fabric that have stains. Leave on for 5 or 10 minutes, then rinse with water.

On the market, manufacturers represent a huge variety of washing powders. To choose the powder that is best suited, you have to try many types, but so far there is no product ideal for any wash. Therefore, for white, color and black linen, it is better to use different types of washing powders.
Useful advice
Laundry soap for many years helps to get rid of dirt and stains, so those things that can not be machine washed are best treated with household soap. Then there will be no spots from the powder.
