Oil stains from clothes can be removed using the following composition: mix potato flour with a small amount of water to a pulp state and dry the mixture on fire. After the gruel has cooled, add a small amount of gasoline and mix thoroughly. With the resulting composition, treat the stain from the inside, moving from the edges to the center. Then wash the item in a warm soapy solution.

Fresh oil stains on a silk or wool product can be removed if talcum powder is poured on the place of contamination and covered with blotting paper. Iron with a not-so-hot iron. For best results, leave talcum powder on the material until the next day. Instead of chalk, you can use tooth powder or ground chalk. If the stain has not cleared by morning, moisten a cotton pad in refined gasoline and treat the place of contamination, periodically changing the cotton to a new one. Sprinkle with talcum powder again and leave for a couple of hours to completely absorb gasoline.

Fresh stains from vegetable oil can be removed with kerosene. To do this, moisten a small cloth in it and gently rub the area of contamination from the inside. It remains to wash the item in warm water with the addition of powder. From the spot there will be no trace.

Rub the oil stain on clothes with a cotton swab previously moistened with a warm solution of detergent and ammonia (one teaspoon in half a glass of warm water). Then iron the item through a white clean cloth with a hot iron.
