If drops of glue accidentally hit your favorite jeans, you should not immediately send them to the bin or to the cottage. Try to remove the stain using improvised means.

The wood glue stain can be removed with warm water. Wipe the contaminated area with a damp cloth. If the stain is old, immerse the jeans in a hot soapy solution for 20-30 minutes. Then wash as usual and rinse.

Wipe the trail of PVA glue with a cotton pad dipped in medical alcohol or table vinegar. Then wash in warm water with the addition of washing powder. Rinse the jeans in running water and dry.

Apply a cotton swab dipped in acetone or white spirit to the stain from the super-glue for a few minutes. Then wash the jeans in a warm soapy solution. Before use, apply a few drops of solvent to the seam of the product or other inconspicuous place. If the material has changed color or texture, discard the product.

In addition, super-glue can be removed in another way. Add a small amount of table vinegar to the hot water. Immerse the jeans in the resulting solution for 30-40 minutes and wash in warm water with powder for stubborn stains. If the adhesive cannot be removed, contact a dry cleaner.

If you stained jeans with Moment glue, use refined gasoline - you can buy it at a hardware store. Moisten a cotton or gauze swab in a solvent, apply to a contaminated area of the product and hold for 5-10 minutes. After processing with gasoline, greasy stains may remain on the fabric. To get rid of them, treat the cloth with dishwashing liquid or ammonia.

Wrap the soiled jeans in a plastic bag and put in the freezer for 2-3 hours. After this time, remove the clothes and try to get rid of the stain mechanically. Then wash the jeans in warm soapy water with pre-soaking.

Buy a special glue cleanser at the hardware store. Apply it on the stain according to the instructions. Then wash the jeans as usual.
