White fur looks elegant and extravagant, but, unfortunately, over time it acquires a yellow tint. This does not happen because the fur was improperly stored, or carelessly worn. Just a white natural pile with time acquires yellow pigmentation. You can get rid of yellowness with improvised means, which, for sure, can be found in every home.

To remove the yellow tint from the fur, make a solution of equal parts of 3% hydrogen peroxide, ammonia and water. Moisten a sponge with a solution, apply to the fur, but do not wet the product, and clean only superficially, not particularly moisturizing. Hang to dry under a canopy. Never hang natural fur in the sun. You can dry it only in the shade.

You can bleach white fur with semolina or crushed chalk. To do this, spread the fur on a flat surface, sprinkle with chalk or semolina, brush by hand, shake well, knock out with a twig, hang under a canopy for several hours. After drying, store the product in a raincoat or canvas bag.

Potato starch has exactly the same effect. It not only helps to whiten white fur, but also reliably removes all dirt after the sock season. But the starch should be applied not dry, but slightly moistened. Apply the mixture with your hands, gently rub along the pile. Hang the product under a canopy. After complete drying, comb out the starch with a brush with fine teeth.

Another way to whiten fur is to apply table vinegar or lemon juice diluted in half with water using a brush. Instead of a brush, you can apply the composition with a spray gun. Hang the product under a canopy, completely dry, comb, hang for storage. This processing method not only bleaches white fur, but also reliably protects from moths the entire storage season.

Remove all greasy stains with alcohol or clean aviation gasoline. Timely removal of dirt and grease stains will extend the period of wearing white fur without yellowness.
