This can be a manufacturing defect, damage that occurs during transportation, as well as during improper storage, and much more. Before starting to repair the defect, determine how much the surface of the product is damaged. To do this, slide your finger over the damage. If you feel roughness when moving your hand in one direction, it means that the skin itself is damaged. If you feel roughness in all directions, most likely only the paint is damaged.

You can remove a small scratch on thin skin using the most common Moment glue, which you can buy at any hardware store. Gently fill the scratch with glue, and then apply several layers of paint for the skin that matches the color to the damaged area.

A slight tear on the leather surface can be eliminated with nail polish. To do this, take a toothpick and use it to apply a small amount of varnish to the damaged area and the back of the torn leather film. Place the torn piece in its place and press with your finger, which you need to wrap a small piece of clean cloth. Instead of varnish, you can use collodion, which is a solution of colloxylin.

The scratch on black leather shoes can be repaired with black nail polish. Just cover them with the damaged area. But remember that in two weeks this procedure will have to be repeated.

Complex scratches can be wiped with a special wax, in the absence of which it is not forbidden to use ordinary bees. Heat the wax and gently apply it to the scratch. Then wipe the damaged area with a thin flannel cloth. If the item to be repaired is colored, paint the place of processing at the end of processing. To do this, you can use the felt-tip pen of the desired shade.

Eliminate damage with liquid skin. To do this, carefully cut off the sticking pieces of skin at the place of the defect and clean the surface with the bafik used for manicure, or fine-grained sandpaper. After you close the scratch, it will be superfluous to give the skin its former shine. To do this, you can wipe the product with an orange peel or a cotton swab dipped in lemon juice.
Beat egg whites will also help to add a unique shine to a leather product. To do this, wipe the leather with a cloth soaked in protein, then rub the skin with a dry flannel cloth.
