The refrigerator is a rather fragile household appliance. With improper transportation, it breaks easily, giving the owners subsequently a lot of trouble with the repair. The easiest way to transport a new refrigerator. It is packed in a sturdy cardboard box and secured inside it with special foam bars. On the packaging it is indicated where the upper edge of the household appliance is located, so that when loading it is not put upside down.

Before transportation, the used refrigerator must be carefully prepared. Unplug the power cord. Remove all food from the refrigerator compartment and freezer. During the day, the household appliance must be defrosted.

When there is no ice and drizzle on the inside of the refrigerator, wash it. Pour clean warm water into the basin and add a little dishwashing liquid. Cleaning glass and other surfaces must not be used. The grill and drawers come in contact with food. Active chemicals can enter the human body through food, causing poisoning. Thoroughly wash the door, freezer, and grilles. Take a dry rag and wipe the refrigerator so that there are no stains. The door and walls on the outside can be polished with a fleecy cloth dampened with a solution of 12 percent vinegar.

After the refrigerator is washed and dried, it can be transported. To do this, glue the doors to the walls with tape so that they do not open on the way. If there are large sheets of cardboard, pack the appliance in them. If not, transport without packaging.

The refrigerator can only be transported in an upright position. Otherwise, the mechanism may be damaged. To prevent the household appliance from falling during movement, secure it in the back of the machine. This can be done by tying it with ropes in several places to the side of the car. Or clinging to the wall with a bulky object - a sofa or an armchair.

After transportation, the refrigerator can be immediately connected to the network. As soon as he reaches the required temperature, lay the food in the chambers.
