Any knot should be well tightened and have the correct appearance, only then it is considered high-quality and reliable. The most common knot is flat, it has earned the trust of both sailors and military, and hunters and fishermen with its reliability. Prepare two ropes of any length. If it is necessary to tie two ropes in a circle, you need to know that the length of the ropes should be proportionate to their thickness, that is, the thicker the rope, the correspondingly longer it should be so that it can be easily connected. It is clear that if you take the clothesline of five centimeters, you are unlikely to be able to tie them. The clothesline should be taken at least 30-40 centimeters. Lay two ropes in front of you parallel to each other.

Take one and the second rope and cross the ends. Then wind the tail of one (in the jargon it is called the working tail) after the other. Bend the second tail from the bottom and pass into the resulting loop. Pull the tail out and lock the loop by pulling the two ends at the same time.

Take the tails again and one of them round the second now from below. Thread the working tail into the loop now from above. Pull the two ends by tightening the tight knot. You should get a flat knot. Depending on the thickness of the rope, such a knot may be voluminous, but the principle will still be the same.

If you need to tie two ropes in one circle, then you need to perform all of the above actions with two other ends. Leaving the first knot, take the other two ends, put the working tail of the rope on the second and, rounding the second, pass it into the loop, tighten the ends, and then repeat the same steps again, only rounding the second tip not from above, but from below.

Tie a turtle knot. Lay 2 ropes parallel to each other. Take both ends and bend under the base of the rope, and then describe with them the eight so that one half is under the threads and the other is on top. Thread both ends into the upper loop and tighten. The ropes are securely connected.
