Plates
If possible, place the plates in a special dryer vertically. This will allow the water to drain and the dishes to dry as soon as possible. If there is no dryer, spread a clean towel on the table and place the plates on the table, face down. If you have a lot of space in the kitchen, you can arrange the dishes one at a time. Of course, this way they will dry much faster.

Cups
If you use a dryer, place the cups face down. It is not recommended to place one on another, this will slow down the drying. If there is no dryer, you can place them on a towel in two ways, each of which has its own advantages and disadvantages. If you turn the cups over, dust will not get into them, but they will dry for a very long time, since access to air will be blocked. If you do not turn over, they will dry much faster, but do not be surprised to find dust particles that adhere to a damp surface.

Cutlery
Use a glass to dry the cutlery if it is important for you to save space in the kitchen. Cutlery will dry faster if the glass is on an uneven surface (for example, a corrugated metal coating near the sink), as water will drain freely through the holes in the bottom of the glass. If there is a lot of space in the kitchen, place the cutlery on a dry towel that absorbs water well. They will dry almost instantly.
Useful advice
As you know, dust sits very easily on any wet surface. To prevent your freshly washed dishes from becoming dusty, cover them with a very thin towel or piece of cloth. This does not interfere with air access, but helps protect against dust.
