Clothing made of wool has not gone out of fashion for many centuries. This material is beautiful and beneficial to the body. But wool products must be properly looked after so that they serve for a long time and keep their appearance. This primarily relates to washing and ironing.

Disassemble the items intended for washing. Woolen products, whether sewn or knitted, must be washed separately from the rest. One hundred percent wool is often dyed with unstable dyes. This is especially true for knitwear. In addition, the washing conditions of different materials are not the same.

Pour some hot water into the basin. Dissolve the powder in it and only then bring the water to the desired temperature. Woolen products must be washed in cool water. It is better to use a special powder designed specifically for washing this material. In extreme cases, you can use the universal. It is preferable to use soft water. The ideal option is rainwater.

Put the product in water so that it is completely submerged. In this form, leave it for about half an hour. It is not recommended to hold more, because the wool easily sits and rolls.

Wash the item carefully, squeezing gently. Do not stretch or rub it. Woolen fibers quickly become clean if there are no very dirty stains on the material. If there are such places, then it is better to treat them with a stain remover before washing. It is impossible to twist the product, from this it will quickly lose its shape.

Woolen clothes and even knitwear can be washed in a typewriter. Of course, provided that the car is quite modern and has several modes. The material is very delicate, therefore a gentle mode is needed.

Regardless of which washing method you choose, the product must be rinsed. Remove the product from the basin and rinse it well. Pour water at the same temperature as it was when washing. In any case, the temperature difference should not be too significant, otherwise the product may fall off.

Change the water several times. Rinse very carefully. Even a small amount of washing powder, left between the fibers, can lead to the formation of unpleasant stains, which then do nothing. Before rinsing the item for the last time, add rinse or antistatic to the water.

Wrap the product in a piece of cotton cloth and gently wring it out, gently pressing. If the item is large and heavy, such as a blanket or blanket, let it drain a little. To do this, lay 2 boards across the bath so that there is free space between them. Lay the product on them and wait until the item can be lifted and moved. Then lay the product on a horizontal surface covered with a cotton cloth (such as a sheet). Give it the desired shape. Wait for the product to dry completely. Small woolen items are best laid out immediately.

Ironing is possible, but it is not always necessary. For example, sweaters and sweaters, connected by a relief pattern, do not need to be ironed. Sewing products are always ironed. Turn the thing to the wrong side. If you certainly need to iron trousers or a jacket on the front side - do it through a cotton cloth.

Do not sprinkle powder onto the surface of the product; ugly, faded spots may form.
