Lighting. The orchid does not tolerate direct sunlight, they can cause a burn in the plant, but the orchid is light-loving. The most suitable for orchids are windows facing southeast and east. When the orchid blooms, there is no need for lighting, so it can be moved deep into the room. But this is only for the flowering period!
2
Ambient temperature
The most optimal for orchid cultivation is a temperature of 20-24 degrees during the day, 16-18 degrees at night. Optimum fluctuations of 4 degrees, they can cause flowering. At a higher temperature, over 25 degrees, the orchid grows leaves intensely, but it blooms worse. To reduce the temperature during the heating season, you can cover the battery with a towel.
3
Watering.
Excessive watering leads to rotting of the roots and the cessation of flowering. Watering the orchid is possible only when the substrate is completely dry. It is advisable to limit watering, since in natural conditions the orchid blooms in the dry season.
