When you give a chic bouquet of roses, you always want to keep the beauty of the flowers longer. Extending the life of cut roses is quite simple. For this, it is enough to use simple tricks.

So that roses stand in a vase for a long time, and the water does not deteriorate, tear off those leaves that may come into contact with water.

Cut the stems of the roses 2-3 cm at an oblique angle. So that air does not get into the fresh cut, it is advisable to cut it in water. Roses will absorb water better if the stems are further split after pruning.

Take a tall vase and pour water into it so that 2/3 of the length of the stems of roses can be immersed in it. Water for roses is desirable to defend. In summer it is better to pour cool water into the vase, in winter - water at room temperature.

Add nutrients to the water, so roses in a vase will last longer. Sugar and vinegar (20-30 grams of sugar and 1 tablespoon of vinegar per 1 liter of water) can be used as nutrients.

To keep the water in the vase longer longer, add a small amount of some bactericidal substance (alum, vodka, aspirin tablet or borax) to it.

Purchased roses are often accustomed to chemistry. Therefore, as a disinfectant for water, you can use a drop of bleach for laundry.

Place a vase of roses in a cool place, but not in a draft. Keep flowers out of direct sunlight.

Caring for roses in a vase:
- change the water daily;
- during a water change, rinse the stems of roses under running water;
- Every day spray a bouquet of roses in a vase from a spray bottle, while trying to ensure that the water does not fall in the center of the buds, but on the outer petals.

When the roses begin to fade, put them overnight in a bath with cool water of 7-12 degrees. Lay the flowers so that only the stems are immersed in the water and the buds are above the water level. Then cut the stems again and put the roses in fresh water. Before this, it is advisable to dissolve a couple of teaspoons of ammonia in water.
