Every housewife who prefers to use solid soap has small remnants that are inconvenient to use. You can, of course, just throw them away. Most do it. And you can, after digging up a number of remnants, give them a "second life". Making homemade soap from remnants is not so difficult.

You will need

Washings, ordinary grater, glycerin (easy to buy at the pharmacy), a container for soap, a large container for creating a water bath, aromatic oil, mold.

Instruction manual

1

Grate the soap on a fine grater. Add hot water and glycerol per 100 grams of soap - 3 tablespoons of water and one tablespoon of glycerin. If glycerin is not at hand, then you can do without it.

2

Heat the mass in a water bath - put the container with soap in a dish with boiling water. It is not necessary to bring the soap to a boil - just warm it up well, to achieve the formation of a homogeneous soap mass. You can heat in the microwave, set for about 15 seconds.

3

Now the heated soapy mass must be laid out in a greased form. You can add 3 drops of your favorite aromatic fragrance oil. Leave to dry completely - it will take about three days.

Useful advice

You can make two-color soap. To do this, separately prepare two masses of remnants of two colors. Spread in molds in layers.

You can add ground coffee or ground hercules to the soap - you get a soap with a scrub effect.
