You can make a small pet carrier using any thick fabric. The individual design of this desired item can become part of a personal style.
Necessary materials and preparation
If you don’t have a fabric cut at hand, and you need to carry out the transportation in a short time, you can use old jackets or jeans, any clothes with a moderately dense fabric that is not difficult to sew on a typewriter.
For the base (bottom) of carrying, the bottom of the old bag, thick cardboard or thin plastic is suitable. Without a hard bottom, carrying will be shapeless, and carrying a pet in it will be inconvenient.
The most convenient form for independent sewing is a triangle, where the base is the floor. For one of the sidewalls you will need a mesh, for the other - lightning. You will also need a sling or strap for handles to carry in your arms or over your shoulder. The base of the bag should be large enough so that the pet is comfortable inside and does not feel too constrained.
The dimensions of the base are recorded on a piece of paper and the necessary calculations are carried out, figuring out the amount of fabric that will be needed to sew the carrying bag. If the animal will be transported nearby and only in the summer, you can take thin tissue for the walls, for example, ordinary cotton. Such carrying is perfect for transporting a cat to the cottage and back. If the carrier will be used more often and at all times of the year, it is better to use denser fabrics for it, so that you do not have to put too many blankets there in the winter.
