Record the current value on the hot and cold water meters. If they have just been installed, it will be zero. For control, report this data to the management organization. After a month, read the readings from the counter again and transfer them to the managing organization. Subtract old values from new ones and calculate the difference.

Find out at what tariffs water charges are currently calculated. Tariffs are changed annually, their leadership sets the city and region where you live. You can watch them on the website of the city administration or call directly to the managing organization.

Multiply the tariff for paying hot water by the value displayed by the meter. That is how much you need to pay for hot water this month. Do the same with cold water to find out how much you need to pay for it.

Remember that some cities set a minimum amount of water to pay. This means that even if such a minimum is overspended, for example, if you used up 5 cubic meters while at least 1 cubic meter, you have to pay at least per meter. In this case, the residual fee is transferred to the next month and added to the following values. You can also pay for the water on the meter immediately for several months in advance.

In the event that you need to leave the apartment, for example, during the holidays, and you do not notify the administrative services about this, your counters will be automatically considered broken. Do not be afraid of this, the payment receipt will arrive as usual, as soon as you return, and the counters will begin to work as usual. At the same time, a recalculation will be made to refund the funds that were withdrawn from you during the absence.
