Water in an electric thermos kettle is heated to a boil with the help of a heating element. After that, the heater does not turn off and heats the water all the time, due to which an effect comparable to the effect of a thermos is achieved.

It has double walls, between which air is pumped out and a vacuum is maintained. The vacuum practically does not conduct heat, so the liquid inside the thermos cools down (or vice versa - heats up) very slowly.

In thermal pots, the principle of the Dewar vessel is not used. It’s just that the boiling water in them is constantly heated by the heating element. It is due to the constant heating in the thermos kettle that the long-term maintenance of the water temperature at a certain level is ensured.

As in a conventional electric kettle, water is supplied in a thermal sweat by pressing a special button. There are designs of thermal sweat, allowing additional installation of water filters.
