Models of perforators with an electromechanical percussion mechanism are inexpensive. But models with an electro-pneumatic mechanism will cost more. In addition, even the most durable reinforced concrete can drill an electro-pneumatic shock.

Already choose a tool? Does the selected model have a slotting function? After all, any punch can drill holes, but not hammer. This function is most often available for punch models with the “hit without rotation” function.

Torque is important for a hammer drill. Simply put, the higher the torque, the better. After all, this helps the drill to overcome great resistance and makes it possible to make holes in a variety of materials.

If you make a hole with a blow, then do not press on the punch, as when working with a drill. The hammer mechanism of the punch can itself create the necessary force, and the pressure can ruin the tool.

Do not often use chiselling - it causes a large load on the punch. Chiselling should not be more than 25-30% of the total tool life.

If the engine is on, do not change the operating modes of the punch and the direction of rotation.
