When purchasing a washing machine, its size and installation location must be taken into account: the machine must not come into contact with walls and furniture. If the unit is placed close to the walls, there is not enough space for laying cords and hoses.

The floor should be even and hard (preferably concrete or tile), if necessary, the evenness of the machine is regulated by legs in level. These measures completely eliminate the vibration and noise of the device during the spin cycle.

Pay attention to the drain hose, the length of which should not exceed 1.5-2 meters. A longer hose will reduce the rate of water drainage, moreover, dirt accumulates in it over time, and the washing machine becomes unpleasant. Also, the hose should be accessible for cleaning, but children and pets should not be allowed to it in order to avoid a break and a subsequent flood.

The location of the tap and the water inlet hose must be considered. A hose length of 1-1.5 meters is usually supplied with a washing machine. The inlet hose can be of any length, but do not increase it yourself (it loses reliability over time) it is better to buy a new one of the appropriate size.

Correctly install the drain hose in the pipe or washbasin siphon, which should be at least 50 cm from the floor. If you plan to install the machine so that water from it flows directly into the sewer, bath or sink, the hose must be hung on a hook. The height from the drain hole to the end of the hose must also be at least 50 cm. The hose must not be immersed in water.

Connection to the water supply system is carried out in various ways: using a mortise clamp to the water supply pipe, to the mixer in the bathroom or to the toilet bowl. Faucets should be made of quality materials to avoid water breakthrough when they break.

Connecting to power from the mains requires compliance with safety regulations. Do not plug the washing machine into a normal power outlet. Use surge protectors.

Since the machine is connected to the water supply, it is necessary to ground it or zero it. There are two connection options. The first - in the presence of an electric stove, you can connect to it. The second is the connection to the electrical panel in the corridor. Connecting and laying the cable to the entry point should be done by a specialist.

Hoses should not have creases, kinks, and also do not allow furniture to be installed on the hose.
