It is very important to determine what kind of woolen clothes you have. Woolen things can be either coarse and prickly, or delicate and fluffy, colored or plain. The wool can be homogeneous or mixed in its composition, for example, goat and dog six in one product. For things made of soft and fluffy, colored and mixed wool, special care. Most often, the composition of the wool is written on the label or you can find it when buying in a store.

Before you start to wash the woolen thing in the washing machine, turn it on the wrong side. If you have a long skirt, dress or jacket with a long sleeve, carefully fold the woolen product and put it in a special mesh bag for a more delicate wash.

Use liquid detergents to wash particularly delicate woolen products. If there are none in the store, try to pick up the powder for the coat. Please note that the powder for woolen products is different for colored and simple things. As a last resort, use baby detergent and softening softener.

Understand the instructions for the washing machine. Most of the new models have a special “wool” mode, try to use it correctly when washing woolen things. If washing on hands, first soak wool clothing in warm, not hot water, then rub it lightly and rinse thoroughly.

Do not forget to wash light items separately from dark ones, do not soak them for a long time. Woolen things do not like frequent washing. Dry your woolen clothes properly after washing. Best in horizontal view. Laying out on a light cloth on the table or carefully hanging it on a hanger.
