Compliance with the last rule is necessary so that the rope cannot break under the weight of washed clothes and other linen. You need to pull the rope very tight. Before each hanging laundry, the rope must be wiped with a damp cloth.

Choose a place for clothespins. Clothespins or other clothespins are best kept in your pocket. You can attach them to the clothesline in advance. It will also be convenient to keep clothespins attached to a special rope, which can be hung around the neck in the form of a kind of necklace or belt. After the laundry has already dried, it is better to remove the clothespins in a specially prepared bag.

Before hanging clothes, all things must be very carefully straightened. Doing this procedure must be very careful. This is due to the fact that things can stretch during the drying process. Special attention must be paid to the expansion of seams and ribbons. This can significantly save time and effort on further ironing. Those things that were turned inside out should be returned to their original position. After that, they must be shaken so that they take their normal form.

Identical things are best hung around. However, do not hang objects too close to each other - you must keep them at least at a minimum distance. Otherwise, it is likely that the laundry that is being hung will start to churn during drying. In addition, it is better not to leave the laundry drying for too long (longer than necessary). Overdried things become especially brittle. In addition, such linen is quite problematic to iron.

Hang the laundry so that the edge of each item bends over the clothesline for ten or a maximum of twenty centimeters. The smaller the edge thrown to the other side of the rope, the faster your laundry will dry. At the same time, knitted clothing must be hung in such a way that it is half bent over the clothesline. Shirts and trousers, pillowcases, sheets and duvet covers are allowed to dry on the left side.
