After you have bought and brought into the house an air ionizer, you need to find the right place for it. Usually everyone wants to put the device so that it can distribute the negative ions in the room as much as possible. But this is impossible to achieve, and the ionizer is necessary primarily for people.

In the apartment, the main area where a person spends more time is the space of a table, bed, armchair or sofa. An ionizer should be placed in this zone. It can be put on a table or bedside table, or hung on a wall.

To neutralize the harmful effects of the TV screen, place the ionizer between you and the screen closer to the place where you usually sit. In the case of a computer monitor, the ionizer will be correctly placed on the wall 40-50 cm higher than the upper wall of the monitor.

When the ionizer is working, particles of dust and other contaminants “sit down” on it intensively, therefore it is recommended to wipe the case of the switched-off device more often with a soft cloth moistened with a detergent, and then with a dry cloth.

Ionization of the air does not replace the ventilation of the room, as this device does not produce oxygen. Ventilate the apartment regularly.

Before turning on the ionizer, close the windows. Turning on the device, you need to leave the room for 10-15 minutes to clear the air of aerosol particles. Only after that you can enter the room and be near the working ionizer at a distance of 1-3 m (depending on the power of your device). At first, you can be near a working ionizer for no more than 20 minutes. If there is no discomfort, the operating time of the device can be brought to the maximum specified in the instructions.

If during the operation of the ionizer you feel a headache, increased irritability, bleeding from the nose appears, stop using the device for at least a day, and then shorten its working time, or increase the distance to it.

It is strictly forbidden to smoke near a working ionizer, as this leads to respiratory disease.

Together with the ionizer, it is advisable to use an air purifier. With this combination of appliances, the air in your apartment will be truly clean and healthy.
