The comfort and coziness of an apartment is largely determined by correctly selected and correctly installed heating devices. In order to maintain a suitable temperature in the living room in the cold season, care should be taken in advance to install heating batteries. Such devices will help to create the necessary thermal regime and maintain health.

Instruction manual

1

Determine if you intend to change the entire heating system, including pipes for water supply, or limit yourself to installing new radiators. As a rule, the installation of modern heating batteries implies the simultaneous connection of adjustment devices (thermostats), with which you can optionally change the system parameters and select the desired temperature regime.

2

Select the type of heater. Today, instead of the usual cast-iron batteries, more practical aluminum, steel or bimetal radiators are increasingly being installed. The choice may be affected by the price of the heating battery, the required number of sections, as well as the appearance of the device, corresponding to the design of the room.

3

Find the places where you install the batteries. As a rule, they are best mounted under windows to minimize exposure to cold air currents. The width of the battery should be approximately equal to the size of the window opening. It is not recommended to install radiators close to the floor and window sill, be sure to leave gaps within 70-100 mm.

4

Immediately before the dismantling of old batteries and the installation of new appliances, turn off the water in the heating system, coordinating your actions with the organization operating the housing. Remove old heaters. Before installing new batteries, install thermostats if necessary.

5

Hang new radiators on the wall using mounting brackets and hooks. Make sure that the devices are installed securely and cannot be moved without significant effort. Connect the lead pipes to the batteries. Make all threaded connections tight using linen thread or special sealant. After the installation is completed, let water into the heating system, check the serviceability of the devices, if necessary, eliminate the installation flaws.
