Open the back cover of the watch. This is perhaps the easiest operation. We find a special tongue on the back cover, we bring an ordinary sharp strong knife under it. Now we turn towards the watch case, and the cover opens. The main thing is not to make too sharp movements, it is fraught with scratches.

Now take out the battery. In modern watches, it is rarely attached somehow difficult. More than a dozen hours passed through me. As a rule, I needed a maximum awl to squeeze the top contact (it is made on the spring), and more often - the battery rests only on "honest word". In older models, there may be some kind of screw, then a small watch screwdriver will be required.

And now the most important thing. After placing the new battery in the place of service, you must close the lid. For this, I use my own method. I put the clock on the carpet with glass and put the lid back in place. I lay the book on top so that the clock falls exactly in the center of the book. And now we push the book with a hand. Under the influence of our weight, the cover neatly fits into place. This will be clear from the characteristic click.

When you put the cover in place, pay attention to the special groove that the designers left under the stem of the watch’s crown. If it is installed correctly, the lid will stand up exactly and remember nothing.
