The change of seasons is associated with the need to clean some things in the closet and replace them with others. Take care of things that will be stored for a long time. Each type of clothing and footwear needs its own preparation and various storage.

Make sure you don’t need things this season. Check the weather forecast, which may be volatile.

Clean fur products. You can resort to dry cleaning services, you can try home methods. For cleaning at home, use wheat or rye bran, heated to 60 degrees. They need to rub the fur product, and then shake. For white fur, semolina or potato flour is suitable. Dry the furs in the air.

Wash down jackets and jackets with liquid detergents or also use dry cleaning services. When washing down jackets, put a few tennis balls in the drum, and shake down periodically during drying.

Buy or sew special outerwear covers. Hang fur coats and jackets on your shoulders, fasten all buttons and zippers, put covers on top. Keep dyed and unpainted furs stored separately.

Gently fold and remove knitted sweaters, for this you can use special vacuum bags or just plastic bags. Bend long skirts and dresses through the bar for trousers so that they do not wipe the floor of the closet.

Wipe leather shoes with a damp cloth, dry and apply cream. Clean the suede shoes from dirt with a special brush, suede cleaner or a simple eraser, then treat them with a water-repellent suede spray. Stuff your shoes with newspapers and put them in boxes.

For storing blue and white fur, use blue covers to avoid yellowing. For leather and fur, the cover should be made of natural fabrics.
