Wash the dog's paws after a walk. There are such owners who, for various reasons, do not wash the dog after they came from the street, or simply wipe their paws with a cloth. Be sure to accustom the animal to water procedures.

Teach your pets only the right places: for a dog it’s a street, a diaper or a tray, if the puppy is still small, for a cat a tray. Having spent a little time and having patience in the very beginning, you will get rid of many problems in the future.

Many cats go to a tray with a net without filler. You can also pour filler directly under the net. Then there will be no smell in the apartment, and the filler will not be scattered directly near the tray, and the cat will not carry it throughout the apartment on its paws. If you can’t train a cat to walk in a tray with a net, then you should buy a deep tray with sides. From such a tray less filler wakes up.

If possible, use a vacuum cleaner every day or wash the floors at least in the hallway. Firstly, there is always the most dirt, especially at the entrance. Secondly, if there is a door mat, and animals sometimes lie on it, then they will spread all the street dirt on their wool, not only throughout the apartment, but also on furniture and bed, if they are allowed to climb into it.

Comb your pets regularly. Then at least part of the wool will remain on the brush, and not on the floor, carpet or furniture.

Keep your pets healthy. In their diet should be all the necessary vitamins and minerals, which will allow the wool to fall out less. Due to problems with the genitourinary system, animals can crap in completely inappropriate places. In addition, in meeting its need for the wrong place, the animal may thus indicate other health problems.

Give cats and dogs anthelmintics 3-4 times a year. If your pet sheds long and hard, remember when you did it the last time. Often 1 tablet of anthelmintic greatly reduces the amount of hair in the apartment.
